1. Scope

These Payment Terms & Conditions govern Article Processing Charges (APCs) and any publication-related payments applicable to manuscripts accepted for publication in the International Journal of Security Sciences (IJSS).

2. Article Processing Charges (APC)

The International Journal of Security Sciences (IJSS) applies Article Processing Charges (APCs) for accepted manuscripts to support editorial management, peer review administration, article production, digital hosting, DOI registration, indexing preparation, and long-term preservation of published content.

3. Payment Timing

APC payment is requested only after a manuscript has been formally accepted following editorial assessment and peer review.

Article production, DOI registration, and publication activities will commence after payment confirmation has been received.

4. Accepted Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods may include:

Secure Online Payment Gateway

Available payment methods may vary depending on the author's country and payment provider availability.

5. Author Responsibility

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of any applicable APC once an invoice has been issued.

Any banking fees, intermediary bank charges, payment gateway fees, currency conversion charges, taxes, or related transaction costs remain the responsibility of the author unless otherwise stated.

6. Refunds

APC payments are generally non-refundable once editorial processing, production, DOI registration, or publication activities have commenced.

Refunds may be considered only in cases of duplicate payments, payment processing errors, or other exceptional circumstances approved by the publisher.

7. Invoices and Receipts

Official invoices and payment confirmations are issued electronically. Authors are responsible for providing accurate billing information when requested.

Payment receipts may be required for institutional reimbursement, grant reporting, or funding agency compliance.
