Refund Policy
Journal: International Journal of Security Sciences (IJSS)
Refund Policy
Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid for accepted manuscripts support editorial management, peer review administration, article production, digital hosting, indexing preparation, DOI registration, and long-term preservation of published content.
- APCs are generally non-refundable once the editorial review, production, or publication process has commenced.
- Refunds may be considered only in cases of duplicate payments, incorrect transactions, or payment processing errors.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of payment confirmation.
- Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
- Any applicable banking, payment gateway, transaction, currency conversion, or administrative charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Publication Stage Limitation
Once a manuscript has entered the final production stage, has been assigned a DOI, scheduled for publication, or published online, the APC becomes non-refundable.
This policy applies regardless of author-requested withdrawal, change of authorship, institutional requirements, funding issues, or any other circumstances arising after publication processing has begun.
Rejected Manuscripts
No APC is charged for manuscripts that are rejected during editorial assessment or peer review. APCs are payable only for manuscripts accepted for publication.
